A carpenter from Ocean County won $2 million in a recent Mega Millions lottery drawing and was just a whisker away from winning the $341 million jackpot. His ticket matched five winning numbers, but missed the Mega Ball by just one number. If his ticket had also matched the Mega Ball, he would have won the $341 million jackpot.

The winning Mega Millions numbers in the Tuesday, October 27, drawing for the $443 million jackpot were 14, 19, 21, 45, 67 and the Mega Ball is 3. The cash value is $186.5 million. Numbers are drawn at 11 p.m. ET Tuesday and Friday. The next drawing is Friday.
